From the channel 4 news email update:
The NHS is offering £20m to be shared out among nurses, hospital porters and other health workers if they can suggest ways to boost efficiency and save money.
But with years of record spending on the NHS due to end in 2011, will this be enough to cushion what are many are saying will be dramatic cuts in NHS budget in a few years time?
My suggestion:
Stop wasting money offering it as a prize for coming up with money saving suggestions.
